Daily Streak is a simple habit tracking app focused on building one habit at a time. If you have questions, issues, or feedback, you'll find helpful information below.
How Daily Streak Works
- Track one active habit at a time — mark it done each day to build your streak
- Miss a day? You have until noon the following day to complete it and keep your streak alive
- Once your habit feels solid, mark it as completed and start a new one
- Restart anytime to clear your streak and begin fresh with the same habit
- Accidentally marked your habit as done? Tap Undo — it appears next to the action button for 5 seconds after marking complete
56-Day Journey
The habit screen includes a 56-Day Journey view alongside the familiar weekly calendar. Tap the toggle at the top of the habit screen to switch between views:
- This Week — the 7-day calendar showing your completions for the current week
- 56-Day Journey — a heatmap showing all 56 days of your current habit window at a glance
Two progress bars help you track how you're doing:
- Time window — how many of the 56 days have elapsed
- Check-ins — your completions toward the 75% consistency goal (42 out of 56 days)
Tap the ⓘ button next to either bar to learn why the journey spans 8 weeks and why 75% consistency is the target. You can also swipe left or right on the calendar area to switch between This Week and 56-Day Journey without using the toggle.
Focus Sessions
Focus Sessions bring a Pomodoro-style timer to your habit. Instead of just marking a habit done, you can run a timed work session and have the habit auto-complete when the session ends.
- Start a session — tap the timer button on the habit screen to open the Focus Session view
- Choose a duration — pick from preset session lengths or set a custom time
- Stay on track — a live countdown keeps you focused; you can pause and resume at any time
- Auto-complete — when the timer hits zero your habit is marked done automatically and you see your streak update
- Background support — the timer keeps running if you leave the app; a notification lets you know when your session is finished
Plan & History
- Plan tab — queue up future habits and activate the next one when you're ready. Free users can plan up to 3 habits; premium users get unlimited.
- History — browse all your completed habits. Tap any entry to see a full journey recap: heatmap, final streak, progress, and the dates you started and completed it.
Keep Tab
The Keep tab is your long-term habit archive. Habits you complete automatically show up here — no extra steps needed.
- Week strip — scroll through days at the top to jump to any date, or swipe left and right on the habit list below to move between days
- Habit cards — each card shows the habit name and "Last kept: [date]" (or "Not kept yet" if you haven't logged a check-in yet)
- Log a check-in — tap the circle button on a card to record a check-in for the selected day; tap it again to undo
- Past days — browsing to a past day shows only habits whose completion date falls on or before that day
- Detail view — tap a habit card to open its full history: a month calendar, plus total days kept, current streak, and best streak
- Month calendar — shows your entire check-in history; tap any past day to add or remove a check-in; swipe left or right to navigate between months
- Keep is completely optional — there are no streaks at risk and no penalties for skipping days
Can I add a habit I've already been doing?
Yes! Tap + in the Keep nav bar — or the Add existing habit button in the empty state — to bring in a habit you've been practising outside the app. Fill in the name, when you started, and how often you do it. Tap Add to Keep and the habit appears straight away with today's check-in ready to log.
Streak Restore (Premium)
Lost a streak by accident? Premium users can restore a lost streak with a single tap directly from the habit screen.
Reminders
Enable streak reminders in Settings. You'll get an evening nudge to complete your habit and a morning alert if your streak is at risk during the grace period.
Export & Import
Back up your habits and full completion history as a CSV file via Settings → Export Habits. Restore from a backup at any time via Settings → Import Habits.
iCloud Sync
If you're signed in to iCloud, your habits sync automatically across all your devices. No setup required.
- If the same habit exists on multiple devices with conflicting data, a conflict picker lets you choose which version to keep
- If your iCloud account changes, you'll receive a notification
Data & Privacy
Daily Streak does not require an account. Habit data is stored on your device and, if you're signed in to iCloud, synced across your devices automatically. We collect anonymous crash and usage data to improve the app.
- Settings → Delete All Data removes all habits and history from your device and iCloud
